A Rented Truck or Van
You have booked the truck and driver for a set window. We arrive with it, check the box length and any tail lift, and load to fill it in one run.
Best for people renting a truck with a driver
You have the truck, the storage unit or the container. We supply the people who know how to fill it: a labour only crew with blankets, straps and a loading plan, so the heavy pieces sit low, nothing shifts on the road and everything comes off the way it went in.

Our loading and unloading services in Dubai suit people who have sorted the transport and need the lifting done properly. Perhaps you have rented a truck with a driver for Saturday morning, borrowed the company's pickup, taken a self storage unit in Al Quoz or have a container arriving at a villa in Arabian Ranches. We send the crew and the kit. The vehicle stays yours.
A load that arrives damaged was usually stacked in the order things came out of the flat. A boxed fridge beside an unwrapped side table, a mattress laid flat under cartons, a mirror with nothing behind it: the first speed bump finds every one of those mistakes.
Labour only work is one of three jobs under our removal service, and it can be booked for loading, unloading or both ends of a move.
The vehicle decides the plan: the length of its box, whether it has a roof, and how high its floor sits.

Best for people renting a truck with a driver

A firm's truck that is free at the weekend, or a friend's pickup. Open beds need more wrapping, more tie points and a plan for the sun.
Best for small loads over short distances

You pay for the unit's floor area, so the height above it is worth using. We stack safely towards the ceiling and keep a path to the back wall.
Best for storing things during a move or a renovation

Loaded outside your home for export, or emptied when one arrives from abroad, with each tier built to sit still through cranes and weeks at sea.
Best for international moves out of or into Dubai
Trucks, units and containers follow the same few rules, agreed at the door before anything is lifted.
Wardrobe panels, the washing machine, the fridge and cartons of books go in first, against the far wall.
Why: Weight that sits low and forward keeps the vehicle steady when it brakes.
Each layer is built to an even height across the full width before the next one starts.
Why: A flat top carries cartons safely. A stepped one tips them.
Heavy items alternate left and right rather than lining one wall.
Why: A load that is heavier on one side leans on every bend.
Stood upright along the side walls, wrapped, with nothing heavy resting against them.
Why: Laid flat they take the floor the heavy pieces need, and cartons crush them.
Packed on their edge between two soft pieces, such as a mattress and the back of a sofa.
Why: Glass copes with pressure on its edge far better than on its face.
Cushions, bags of bedding and rolled rugs pushed into the spaces between pieces.
Why: Loose pieces shift at the first roundabout, and shifting is what breaks things.
Ratchet straps across each finished section, hooked to the rails or rings in the vehicle.
Why: Straps stop a section creeping back towards the doors.
A unit filled from the door backwards has to be emptied the first time you need a box from the far end. We work from the back wall forward instead: furniture bodies and heavy cartons low, light boxes high, and a walkway left down one side so every row can still be reached.
Mattresses and sofas stand on end in their covers, tables lose their legs, and whatever you will need soonest, such as winter clothes or the children's toys, sits nearest the door. Prefer not to deal with a unit at all? Our moving and storage service collects, keeps and returns your things.
Labour only works when both sides know their part. Sort out yours and the crew can start as soon as the vehicle pulls up.
Buildings often issue lift bookings and permits only to the resident or the landlord, which is why they sit on your side of the list.

For an outbound container, the haulier usually drops it outside your home and collects it once full, leaving a fixed window. We wrap and stage the furniture inside the house before it arrives, so the crew spends that window carrying, then build the load from the far end in level, strapped tiers.
A container left on its trailer has a floor at roughly chest height and needs a ramp, a platform or extra hands passing items up. One set on the ground is quicker to fill. Ask your shipping agent which it will be and how long the driver can wait.
An inbound container arrives once your shipping agent has cleared customs. Hauliers usually allow a limited free period to empty it before charging for the wait, so the crew is ready when it lands. Each piece is checked against the shipping inventory, carried to its room and rebuilt.
Plenty of labour only jobs use open pickups, and a short trip in the cooler months usually goes well. In the hottest months the vehicle matters as much as the crew.
A roof, sides and doors that shut
A flat bed with low sides
If a pickup is the only vehicle, we load what copes with heat on the bed and suggest the rest goes in an air conditioned car. The UAE midday break on outdoor work also applies in summer, so long open air jobs start early. The summer moving guide on our blog covers the timing.
Photos or a video of what is moving, both addresses and the size of the vehicle, unit or container.
Crew, materials and both ends of the job, set out on one fixed quote before the day.
Furniture wrapped, then loaded heavy and flat first in level tiers, with every section strapped.
Carried to the right rooms and rebuilt where needed, with the vehicle or unit left clear.

Because the bed frames, the toolbag and the bag you need tonight were loaded last, they are the first things out, and the bedroom works early in the job.
Before anything is carried, the crew walks the new home with you and agrees where each piece goes. Door frames on tight turns are padded, furniture goes straight to where it will stand rather than into a heap in the living room, and anything taken apart is rebuilt with its own bagged fittings.
Towers often route moves through a basement or rear loading bay rather than the lobby, so give the driver directions before setting off. Book the earliest lift slot you can, so a loaded truck is not waiting in the sun.
Enough people for the heaviest piece and the access, worked out from your photos, not guessed at the door.
Furniture wrapped before it is lifted, so wood, glass and fabric never rub against the vehicle walls.
Ratchet straps across each section, fixed to the rails or lashing rings your truck or container has.
Beds, tables and wardrobes taken apart where needed, with fittings bagged and taped to their own piece.
Planned from the vehicle size you send us, so the first and last items are decided before anyone lifts.
Crew, materials and both ends of the job in writing, and only changed if the load grows.
Delays on labour only jobs usually come from the vehicle or the building, not the lifting.
A labour only quote covers people, time and materials, not a vehicle. Once we know what is moving, where the vehicle can park and how many floors sit between them, the figure is written down and fixed.
How much is going in, and how many pieces need four hands or more to lift safely.
Lift slots, stairs, the walk from the parking spot and loading bay rules all add or save time.
Loading only, unloading only, or the same crew at both addresses on the same day.
Open pickups and containers left on a trailer take longer to load safely than a truck with a tail lift.
Furniture that has to come apart, and how much film and padding the load needs.
Month end dates book up first. Midweek dates nearer the fifteenth are simpler to line up.

By how much is being moved, how many people the heaviest pieces need, the access at each end and whether we load, unload or both. A pickup of cartons takes little time; a villa into a container fills a long day. Send photos and your vehicle size through the quote form, or ring 058 135 7375, and the fixed figure comes back to you by email.
No minimum figure or rate card is published here, because small jobs vary as much as large ones. Even a short booking means a crew travelling to you, parking and waiting for a lift, and those costs sit inside the price. If you have two small tasks, such as loading a van now and emptying a storage unit later, ask about both together.
Many labour only crews in Dubai are sold by the hour. We prefer to agree a fixed figure for the job, worked out from the crew size and the time it should take, so nobody is watching a clock while carrying a wardrobe. If the job grows on the day, for example extra furniture appears, we agree the difference with you before carrying on.
Weekdays between roughly the tenth and the twentieth are usually the easiest to price, because month end is when leases run out and crews and service lifts are in most demand. In summer, also ask your building for its earliest slot: cooler for your furniture and easier on the crew.
Yes. On an open bed we use more blankets and film and tie down every section, yet sun, dust and wind still reach everything for the whole drive. Garden furniture and boxed goods travel well that way. Leather, electronics, mattresses and anything that softens in heat are better in a closed vehicle, which we can quote alongside.
Yes. Your shipping agent clears customs and books the delivery, and we bring the crew for the time the container reaches your door. Each item is checked against the shipping inventory as it comes off, carried to its room and rebuilt if it was taken apart.
On a labour only booking the vehicle, the driver and the route are yours. If you prefer us to handle everything, we can price a full move with an enclosed truck as a second option, so you can compare the two on paper. You could also keep your own vehicle for the cartons and book our truck for the furniture.
It depends on the volume, the lift and how long the carry is between the flat and the vehicle. Roughly speaking, a studio into a rented van is usually a matter of a few hours, while a family villa into a container often takes most of a working day. The quote gives an expected time, so you can book the vehicle for long enough.
